Welcome to the mansion. Come in. Sit down if you like, but do be prepared to run. Your not alone here, you see. On first glance it appears to be just a great big house. Don't be fooled by that. Many "Things" live here. Feel free to walk among them. All are looking for the warmth of a new home.
As you came up the path you were watched from above. Be careful going up to the top floor. Some residents may be coming down to greet you. The stairs get pretty narrow at the top and the lighting is poor. The things on this level are the watchers. Check out the walk in closets on the second level down. You might not want to stay long enough to read the writing on the walls. Who knows how it got there. The house has been "empty" for years.
Take the hidden stairway to the main level, if you have the heart for it. It's there---on your left. Push the button. Sometimes things reach out and touch you as you go down. Once back on the main floor, join the party going on in the parlor. I'm sure you'll have a ghoul time. The host for this evening may be the witches, just in from their ride.
Look around carefully, if you need the facilities. Strange things happen in here. Rusty faucets and holes in the wall are interesting places for the residents to reside. Now, be brave. Go to the cellar. If you haven't run by now, push yourself alittle bit farther. Creatures move silently through the dark down here. The foundation has crumbled--- over there, in the corner. Excellent place for things to come and go at will. Hidden tunnels let all kinds of creatures in and out. Catch them quick as they go so fast.
Come up the side stairs, through the pantry. Have a cup of whatever is brewing on the stove. I'm sure you'll find it de-lightful. You might want to take it with you as you look around again. You don't want to miss anything. Things here have a strange way of disappearing and then re-appearing again.
Leave through the back door. Visit the garden that is so lovingly attended, by the light of the full moon. Talk about gardening with the keepers here. They are always needing a place to come in out of the cold, when the year is coming to an end. Some ghostly things happen out here, but the inhabitants are to busy to scare you.
Hopefully, you have found something you just can't live without. Everyone needs a "Spirit" or two. The ones here all need a loving home to haunt, and will be a great companion and protector.
Visit us often. Something strange is always appearing at the mansion. Sometimes we get so full of fright, we need to "sale" out. Thank you so much for being brave enough to visit.
